August 12, 2019 Monday - 7 PM for Dinner
One Adult
Atmosphere - 4 stars
Food - 4 star
Service - 5 star
Background - Long work day of work and tired. I picked a place really close to the hotel.
Atmosphere - Over the top racing theme going on. Cars hanging from the ceiling to add to the theme.
Food
Drink - Water, the beer selection was just the Mega Breweries. So if you like Bud or Coors you are in luck. Nothing local at all. My waitress said they had one before and just did not sell.
Dinner - The burgers were not calling me tonight. I went with an app for dinner. The Magna Fries, a plate piled with fries then topped with melted cheese, bacon crumbles, and scallions. I wish there was a layer of cheese in the middle. Some my fries were cooked perfectly and others were under cooked. Strange.
Service - My waitress was great, she will to split my check in two for the beer I wanted to order and my food. Work will not pay for my beer. I only ended up with one check as I did not find a beer I wanted.
Future - Probably as the location is convenient. -

If I never come here again I won't be disappointed.
My dining experiences at Quaker Steak have involved a bachelorette party and car shows. Service has been friendly I suppose and the decor has a certain gear-head vibe. Oh and there are those giant tubes of beer.
But when a selling point at a restaurant is quantity it oftentimes comes at the sacrifice of quality. And that may very well be the case here too. -

I thought this would be counter service, but it's a sit down restaurant. The parking lot was full, but we only waited about five minutes or so for a table - enough time for our son to check out all the video games.
The décor is fantastic. Racing and car memorabilia from floor to ceiling. Plenty to keep you occupied while you wait. The noise level from all the patrons was really high so it's a great place for families.
We got a starter of Korean BBQ wings. I still thought they were hot! I'm a ridiculous lightweight. My husband just laughed and laughed, "Did you see the menu!? There were about fifteen other choices all HOTTER than these!" I know, I know. They were GOOD, though, so I persevered. I actually wished they had a little more sauce on them because the flavor (minus the heat) was pretty amazing.
For dinner I got a mac & cheese burger. It was really big, a tad on the dry side (but I do ask for things well done so this is to be expected), and actually not that messy. I took half of it with me because it was so filling.
My husband got grilled chicken with a side of broccoli and beans and rice. The chicken was REALLY good and he loved those beans and rice. Our son had chicken and fries and it came in a little paper car. It was pretty cool. Like I said, it's great for families.
The service was OK, not great. She was very busy and too rushed. I'd be happy to return, though; the wings alone made it worth the trip. -

I've been a few times and have tried a bunch of the wings with both some hits and misses. I went recently on a Tuesday not realizing that for $14.5, you can get unlimited wings - your first order comes with 6-7 wings and fries, and each order after comes with 5 wings.
Some that I would have again (In this order):
Korean Bbq, Jalapeno Honey, Golden Garlic, Parmesan Pepper
Some that I wouldn't try again:
Cajun, Dusted Mango Habanero, Triple Atomic + Blue Cheese (flavor of the month)
I think part of it also depends on how much fat is on the wings, how much the wings are cooked/fried, how much sauce or dry rub is added, etc. -

Where to begin.... Well, we were visiting Omaha for a mini vacation and staying near the restaurant and decided to stop in. We had never been before. The atmosphere is really cool, especially if you're a car or motorcycle fan. The young gentleman working the front desk area was nice. Our waitress was nice. My meal was delicious. Now, the reason for only a two star is because of the manager. My fiancé ordered New York steak , medium rare. It was almost well done when he sliced into it. The waitress handled it very well. Then a couple minutes later, the manager walked out with the same exact steak that he waitress just took to the back. The manager placed the steak in front of him and said that the cook said it was made correctly. The way she went about things was basically saying "you're wrong, now eat it". So unprofessional. Will never go back and sure don't recommend eating here. Ever.
